Prevents rain, draught, and smoke penetration. This medium duty, low profile aluminium threshold plate is ideal for use in doorways where it can help to keep out the elements. When used in conjunction with a threshold seal, the LAS4012 can create a barrier that prevents rain, draughts, and smoke from entering your home or building.
Smooth transition for wheeled traffic. The LAS4012 is only 6mm high, making it a low profile option that is ideal for use in doorways with wheeled traffic. The smooth surface of the plate also makes it easy for wheelchairs and other mobility devices to pass over.
Easy to install. The LAS4012 can be mechanically fixed to the threshold with the supplied screw pack or adhered with construction adhesive. It is also available in standard lengths of 1m and 2.1m, with other lengths available to special order.
Durable finish. The LAS4012 is finished in silver anodised aluminium, which provides a durable and long-lasting finish. It is also approved for use on proprietary AS1905.1 fire door assemblies for up to 4 hour fire rating.
